These little seeds pack a nutritious punch. They are high in fiber and a good source of both calcium and iron. Chia seeds contain 5g of Omega-3 (ALA) Fatty Acids per 30g serving and 9g of total fat per serving.
Did you know chia seeds can be used as an egg replacement?
1 tablespoon chia seeds and 3 tablespoons water is the equivalent to one egg. Just combine the two and let gel for about 15 minutes prior to use.
